Lippert Family Gravesite

Welcome to St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Mt Oliver, PA (map link).  Old St. Joseph’s and St. George’s Cemeteries have been combined and are now known as St. John Vianney Cemetery.  Here is a photo of the entrance to the St. Joseph’s section where John T Lippert, patriarch of the Lippert Family, purchased a sizable plot for many family members and friends to be buried.

When I originally viewed this gravesite in 2011, it was in dire need of cleaning and leveling after decades of deterioration from the Pittsburgh weather.

I contacted several family members and arranged funds to have a company come out and take care of the needed maintenance.  Below you can see the “Before” and “After” photos of the gravesites belonging to Edward L (father), Marie A (mother), Edward S and Leonard J Lippert.
